Through working together with its sister construction firm Wirtz Tuinarchitectuur nv, the design studio Wirtz International nv gained over the years great experience in the typical complexities and challenges of converting design ideas into high-level constructed projects. This close relationship results in a rather earth-bound attitude and focus on reality during the design process. Also a long lived passion for plantmaterials and horticulture in general is a constant characteristic in all the projects.

However, this does not hamper a preference for solid structures in the designs, a search for perceptible three dimensionality and a constant preoccupation with the relationship of the human figure’s scale and its surrounding landscape. These qualities come back in as well private as in public, corporate and institutional projects.
