  • “Wilaard” estate is a development of luxury apartments in a beautiful former private park. The project started around 1988, and ended 6 years later. Seven apartments were implemented in collaboration between the developer, the architects and landscape architect, to respect the existing park structure as much as possible. A curvilinear driveway connects all apartment blocks at the exterior perimeter of the estate, leading to parking areas and access walkways.

  • A uniform choice of shrubs (Symphoricarpos, Carpinus and Fagus hedges) with flowering trees (Crabapple trees, Japanse cherries, etc) gives a homogeneous and calm impression. All the apartments are facing the park, which is very open and natural. Two large ponds provide the park an even deeper perspective, in combination with clumps of trees (Metasequoias, oaks, lime trees, etc), to restore the overall balance.
